Assumptions:
  • Floss is always cut in 21" lengths (this gives 15 segments per skein)
  • You stitch Danish style (make all / before completing the crosses with the \)
  • You do not carry floss over more than 4 skipped stitches
  • Starting and ending anchors use 1/2" of floss
  • You anchor and discard tail when floss is down to 3 1/2" long
You do not have to stitch this way but you may need a little more or less floss depending on what variations you make.
