What's an "LNS"?

I'm in Norcross, about 32 miles from you. We could meet in the middle somewhere, sure.

Consider yourselves invited: if the Med is your thing then it's all just a hop skip and jump away from my guestroom! I'm thinking of doing a few of the Greek islands a little later in the year myself... Cyprus, Crete, Corfu, the Cyclades (you know, anything that starts with a 'C'!). Maybe you should screen each other for me in Atlanta first though- I don't want any riff-raff coming 'across the pond'! Wink

LNS - Local Needlework Store. I work in Duluth, and we play games all over Gwinnett, so I can pretty much find anything in the area. My work is on the corner of Boggs & Breckinridge, though we were off of Steve Reynolds a couple of years ago.

Oh, lucky dog - I wanted to go to Greece while I was stationed in the UK, but could never get the finances and the government paperwork to happen at the same time. It's amazing some of the places American military couldn't go in the late 80's, but civilians could Confused And the Med is right up my alley; I'm also an armchair archaeologist - the Parthenon, the Coliseum, and the Pyramids are all on my things-to-see-before-I-die list Smile Someday I will get back to that side of the pond.... My next husband will also be a traveler Wink Since about 90% of my cross stitch stash is coming from or inspired by things European (not to mention my reading pile), a lot of days I definitely feel I am in the wrong place...

I work in Duluth, too... (on the odd days I actually GO to the office). It's near the corner of Old Peachtree and 85... between 85 and Satellite.

We could do lunch... LOL.

Almost all of my needlework purchases have been via the web, or at Joann's or Michaels'. Neither of those 2 has a REALLY good selection, but they are better than nothing. There's a Hobby Lobby near where we work too, I think...

HMMM, if the sand is a problem, I'll take a tall, dark & handsome... whatever Smile I already told DH that when he hits 40 next year, I'm trading him in for a couple of 20's. Since I'm older than he is, I feel fully justified in saying that Cool

Okay, I tried desperately to think of some way to get this back on topic, but I'm coming up empty.... Guess I should get off of here and go stitch, huh? AHA! See how I did that???

I recently found this forum so I'm a bit late in responding. I assume you found your floss organzier that you wanted. In case you didn't, The Stitchery out of Massachusetts carries them. You can also get a travel case and extra cards. www.thestitchery.com
