Could do could do. What I really want to do is get a couple of scraps of different counts and just experiment until I get the look I want. Unfortunately where I live now there is no craft shop so I'm forced to buy online and they just don't sell scraps online! Which means that experimenting with various differents count fabrics would be quite an expensive measure. Hmmmmm, still very undecided. I'll probably end up just scrapping the idea altogether and avoid the problem that way!

That's what I'm using for my Lady & Unicorn; now, in hindsight, I would've preferred 20, but 22 was easily found, by the yard, when I started it. It's going to cost a fortune to frame it regardless of the size, so on the next one, I won't worry so much about that...

It took me a while before I realized that is short for 'Heaven and Earth Designs'. They have interesting designs. Take a look.

Well, my local shop sells scraps, and they also have an online store. You could try them.

Thanks Barb! That looks like a really cute little shop Smile I miss my local shop back in Switzerland so much Crying or Very sad I went looking for a supposed "sewing shop" here today and ended up out the back of beyond at some textile warehouse!! I looked at your shop's website but I don't think it's an online shop as they don't have any 'buy here' options... Sad
Hmmmm sigh Neutral
Still, Sew And So is the best ever online shop and I love them!

I guess they stopped doing that. You could always email them and ask.
