Thanks! I have 5 main pieces that are my weekly rotation, but I also have several (8?) side projects, two of which are travel projects. The travel projects don't get a lot of traveling - our weather kind of limits where I can stitch since it's so hot & humid here, and most of my traveling is to outdoor sporting events The rest of the side projects just get worked on randomly here and there - on nights I only have a few minutes to work, I'll get out an easy one, or if I have a little time before I need to start dinner, I'll work on one thing, then after dinner, get out the main focus piece for the week.
I try to be flexible withing the structure of my rotation - if I work on my main focus piece at least soem during the week, even if I end up working on other things most of the time, it's okay, because I did put "some" time into the main piece. And some weeks, the main piece is the only thing I touch - either really into it and don't want to put it down, or time constraints only let me touch one thing all week.
This kind of rotation really seems to be working for me, because I am finishing things - though I have been starting an awful lot of projects lately, just because I want to work on everything I see NOW! Now, if only I can stick to the promise I made to myself about not making Christmas presents this year.....
