Okay gang, it's been a week and a half, I finished the page I started before the commission work (and those miniatures) delayed me. (I am now convinced that "rotation" style stitching is so NOT for me, leaving this and coming back was very hard, it felt like I had to figure everything out from the beginning all over again.) I have gotten a good 4 hours in every night, so I am nearly half way done with the next page. The thing is, I am really not going as fast as it sounds, these pages are only about 55 x 70 stitches, because it's the large print version! Another darn job is looming and I want to make some good progress before I have to get out there in the world again. I've decided I'll have him take pictures at the start of every month.
Any and all progress is good!!! Though I do have to say that I am a bit relieved to hear that you are working a large-print Now, my 2/3 year on a regular-print page in rotation doesn't sound quite so bad - though I have no idea what the stitch count is on my regular pages.... Twice that?? Hmmmm....
Hope you get to where you want to be before the job starts!! Can't wait to see pics!!
My December update picture is in the gallery, with a caveat in the text. The husband has a few days off coming up so I will get him to take the January one soon. Poor Meredith has been down with alleriges, so she had to rest up. Feel better soon, and never worry about us when your heath is a factor. We can wait! Cross stitchers are great ones for patience.
