There's 122 in the first paragraph alone!

If it had been short, you guys would've called in the EMTs to make sure my heart was still working, huh? Wink

Hi Emma, no I haven't done Circe either, but I do look at her enviously a fair bit, I love that pattern! I'm so glad you've decided to stitch her- I love it when somebody else on this forum starts to stitch I pattern I would like myself, it's the next best thing to doing it yourself! So I'll really be looking forward to your updates.

I'm beginning to think that a 1 month rotation might not be a bad idea myself. I'm usually a strict one project at a time girl, but I've lost motivation on my current piece recently and I'm wondering if a change of scene mightn't be the cure. Hmmmm...

I can almost guarantee a change of pace will re-energize the existing project. And then it's all downhill from there Twisted Evil

That's what I was afraid of! Laughing
No really, I hate being in a slump with my stitching, I have so much to do, there's really no time to waste! But it is just so HOT this time of year, I'm getting up at 4:30 in the morning just so I can have some time to think and be normal before the sun comes and takes away my brain for the day. Sitting in an armchair stitching is definitely NOT a pleasant thing to do in this kind of weather. Sad

Hi all,
I find that I have several WIPs, and flit from one to the other, when one or the other starts getting tedious...it zips things along some.

Yes, I'd like to have something like that going on too, Gill.
Say, what's Cork like this time of year? I do so love the south! My family's all from Belfast and Derry, but I used to live in Galway, and I really loved Cork as well.

Hi Alanna,
I'm an ex-pat Brit, living in Cork city since 2001, met my old fella here(he came over from RSA 2 weeks before me, but we met over here later), married in 02. Life in the old girl yet!! Went to UCC, qualified as a nurse, developed arthritis..bad timing or what?!Already a nurse in UK, but took SRN training and exams in 70's, so decided to take the course from scratch to keep up- to- date -why not, after all? Mad woman!!
My landlady is from Derry, and has a mum who is so cute you want to keep her for your own..I love her to pieces. Just love the Northern accent, altogether wholesome, I find, must be my ancestral forbears (O'Neills) echoing in my psyche.
Cork right now is slightly nippy in the mornings(coming off the river Lee), but with gorgeous skies...just right for the camera...quite a bit of grey cloud and rain in squalls...then a crisp sunshine later on...altogether a typical Northern European November. Not discovered Galway yet...will do, though.
My brother in law(the OF's bro)lives in Melbourne, but missed getting burnt out in the fires earlier this year, thank God.

Oh, I'm sooo jealous! My family (my dad's side) is from County Wicklow. I think I still have some half-cousins thirteen times removed or something over there somewhere (my aunt found some a few years ago) Smile I went to Ireland on a trip after graduation from college, and have never seen a more beautiful country. Sigh.

Starting "The Kiss" tonight--gave up completely on homework for the evening Smile
