Patricia, I am hoping that the "break" -for all that hand quilting, will count towards my second project, as well as the off time from the unicorn. Oh wow, change, I don't know..... mighty risky. Let's see how I do after the quilts are done. Maybe.

Patricia, congratulations on your beautiful work on the chocolate pot, you have shown amazing diligence through all that grey, I can only admire you!
When I am choosing patterns, even though I might absolutely LOVE a piece, I always look and see which parts of the design I think would be monotonous to actually stitch, and then I refrain if I think any one pattern has too many of these parts. And unfortunately, I think all that grey in the chocolate pot would have put it in the latter category for me, but it's just wonderful to watch it coming to life under your very capable fingertips! Very Happy

Alanna, YoU are right about all that grey. I don't know why I seem to pick patterns like that. Why does grey appeal to me? Do I need to be analyzed?? The Birds and Snowy Berries Branches has so much grey,I am not sure I will ever get down to the biids. I will ahve to watch that in the future. On the other hand, there are so many blends in the grey it is not boring..At least on the Chocolate Pot.
