Hi Everybody,
I'm so excited because I just started a beautiful new design - in fact it's the newest member of the SQ family: Foxes by Franz Marc. Immediately when I saw it, I was so intriqued...Don't have all my threads yet, but enough to start.
I decided to do this one on Aida (16 ct) only because I had a piece of this fabric laying around that was just the size I need. Once I get the first page of so done, I'll post - already, I really love how meredith has
blended the colors. Also, it looks almos the same as the original which of course, I LOVE!
Anybody stating on a new SQ?

Ewww, I can't wait to see your progress photo - I don't know if I could ever stitch it, but I was immediately drawn to it when I saw it on the NEW page
Haven't started any new SQ - Lady & Unicorn is languishing in it's bag as it is - but I have started plenty of new stuff lately. Though I do think I am almost finishing as many as I start. I hope to have a couple more major finishes in the coming months, though, but have some Chatelaines screaming to be started It's all I can do to hold those at bay right now - which is why I started a Joan Elliott fairy last Friday instead... (see my blogs below if interested)

Mine wait their turn - but then the line gets jumped by new stuff that I gotta do NOW
IF I was to never get on the internet again from this moment on, I could get everything I have ready to go, done.
So not gonna happen

hi Cecilia,
a beautiful project! - I was intrigued, too. Our She-dog sometimes has the same looks like one of the foxes. Eager to see your progress!
I'll have to wait yet for stitching "Foxes" - my Hendrik Hondius World Map is still barnd new
Enjoy !

Eva,
you made me think of something when I choose a particular piece to stitch....localisation of a particular part. It's true that in Foxes, the part that I seemed to like the best was the foxes face and the red around it. The rest of the piece is really stitching up nicely, but it's really the face that did it for me.
Every other piece that I stitch has something particular about it too. How about you?

hi Cecilia,
it's the face in the upper right, the downcast eyes with the long lashes, isn't it?
how is your progress?
