I have a "guideline" for use on dark fabric (red just doesn't stand out). I bought this at Academy Sports--they didn't have it at Wal Mart. It's a fishing line called Sufix Tritanium Plus in Chartreuse 12lb (the lightest weight they had). It runs for about $3.50 for 300 yards. It comes in a bright blue box with silver lettering. This shows up nicely on black and other dark fabrics. Live long and prosper, Pamn

Laraine, Nope. I walked into the store and bought it. We have an Academy Sports nearby. I suppose you could buy it online at their website (google to find it). The SKU number is 24777 06635. The number at the top of the bar code is 696-012CH. Hope those help. You might also try a Bass Pro Shops (I get all kinds of stitching things --repurposed from fishing and hunting--
from Bass Pro Shops). Live long and prosper, Pamn.
