"It seems like her face will look green?"
I was pondering over the same thoughts when I did my "Faif Face" some years ago. If you have a look in the gallery, especially the hafl done one, you will see her green hue (probably a commom feature with fairie folk ) The finished and framed image is no good though, for some reason the enlagment becomes square.
Are you doing the large or the smaller pattern?
Mine is the smaller, but I have the pattern for the larger one in my stash, and might do her again some day because I love the finer details in that one. Also, this was my first attemt on 22 count, and I was struggeling a bit with lumps and bumps as 22 count is a really tight fit for 2 strand stitching. My experience from that piece was to finish each X as you go. The confetti areas will always be whole X-es, so if you stiitch the whole piece like that there will be less difference in the thikness of the stitching.
I now do all my work on 22 count. I feel that the smaller scale brings a super clarity to the image.
Good luck with your stitching.
