I've been reading some of the comments and noticed that several people are using 3 or 4 strands of thread. I am comfortable with two strands, it's very easy to untwist and keep stitches neat. Using 18 count or smaller, wouldn't that much thread tend to bunch and twist? I am dong a small project right now with 14 count aida and am using three strands and have to carefully lay each stitch to make sure the threads don't twist one on top of the other. I also note that one person was using 4 strands. How does one manage that much thread and not go nuts?

Thank you. Even though it was a commission, I still have it as the go-between person who got me the work never got around to picking it up and paying me! and has since dropped off the face of the earth.
