Have you ever looked at the pictures of Paul Peel? He was a Canadian artist, and I particularly like two of his paintings: Before the Bath and After the Bath.

He died around the 1900's, so I don't think copyrights are a concern.

Thanks, Nancy.

"The Young Botanist" would be especially nice... or the portrait of Paul Andre.

Thanks, BarBaraPrz. I like a lot of his works, too.

Good to see you're from Hamilton. Any suggestions for good places to shop for supplies?

Happy Stitching.

Nancy.

I get most of my supplies from Golden Threads on Upper James Street. They have a website and do business that way too. www.gthreads.com

Oh, I do like those two- 'before the bath' and 'after the bath', particularly 'before the bath'- how cute!

I read this when it was first posted but didn't reply, or so it appears. I doubt if the signal from my brain is powerful enough to read from any distance! Very Happy There are quite a few Paul Peel pictures on the list of suggestions. After the Bath is already there - Before the Bath is new. The Young Botanist is new also. I couldn't find a portrait of Paul Andre - the closest I came was a portrait of Robert Andre Peel. Can you clarify or provide a link? Thanks. I've added the others to the suggestion database.

I'm sorry! Embarassed I meant Robert Andre Peel Embarassed (a little case of fingers not being connected to the memory cells...)

OK, got it! (You are in good company ... I learned the hard way to check the suggestions before I put them in the database)
