Well, its been forever since Ive been here. Weve moved twice (husband is out of the military, trying to become a deputy), which will give us more stability. I havent had time to cross stitch in ages, but now I have more time in the afternoons (2 hour blocks even while my kids have their free time).
Anyhow, my husband wants me to cross stitch something to frame and hang in our bathroom. Our bathroom is done in brown and turquoise squares (or blocks) - like brown turquoise brown stacked inside each other if that makes sense. I realize you cannot see what my bathroom looks like haha, but based on the colors and the modular type design, anyone have any suggestions?

Sounds as if your bathroom is busy enough without adding a cross-stitched pic, so I have no suggestions. Sorry.
Also, I'm thinking the humidity in there might not be a good thing, either.
Humidity is a very good point! Forget that whole people actually have to take a shower in there haha.
Its not really busy as it sounds. Its mostly brown with a hint of a silver-turquoise color in outlined rectangles on the shower curtain only. I couldn't afford the whole set alas! Told DH I was thinking about changing it up, since they sell these whole bathroom kit things nowadays, which I didn't actually know.
I bought my first pattern from SQ! Muir Glen deer... Hubby loved it, and wants me to do it for the living room. He likes hunting, so I guess having a prize rack in his living room will give him motivation to shoot things?
