If it helps, I hereby officially give you permission to NOT stitch anything for me for Christmas.

It was hard for me to give that up, but since I know this is important to you...

Whew! That is a load off my mind, let me tell you Smile

"She giveth..."

That's been my problem in the past. People see me working on my needlework, then ask to see where the completed projects are hung...

I have to say: Well, several are in my Mom's house, my sisters, my grandmothers...

I never made anything that wasn't a gift yet. Rolling Eyes

My first SQ will definitely be a keeper. No way in HELL am I giving something away that took me upwards of 2 years to complete!!! haha

Yes, I know what you mean, I have very few pieces that I actually made for me. But I agree that an SQ really has to be for yourself- they're so much work! Mind you, I've got a few on my wishlist that are calculated as gifts. I guess you just have to love that person a real lot! Razz

I have posted this month's update in my Multiply and in my Webshots, if you'd like to see. I am about 250 stitches shy of finishing Page 1, and Page 2 is about 2/3 done already, so it'll be soon to follow. I reached the 12000 mark - 10% is 13K, so I'm almost there!!
