Well, it's sunday evening and we've both got a long week ahead of us so we're really enjoying just this moment of serenity while it lasts. The big decision facing us at present is whether to work on our big jigsaw puzzle together or for me to pick up where I left off with snugglepot and cuddlepie (about half way through- metallics are working out nicely) while hubby reads his new book. Ah, life is full of such challenging decisions!

I also have to say that I made a creamy roasted wild mushroom soup tonight and ladies, it was d...i...v...i...n...e... Very Happy

Ah, your life sounds so civilized...

I've spent my weekend running kids to birthday parties, and dogs to parks, and soothing my husband who is taking his hematology boards next week...

I can't wait for the week to start, when everyone will be at work and school, and I can relax and stitch...or read my new translation of War and Peace...

My, if I could start my week the way I start my weekends, then would my life be truly civilised!

LOL Yes, I do have some very civilized hours in the middle of the day -- but the day starts at 5:30 getting hubby out the door, and driving kids to school so the civilized portion of the day really doesn't start until 9 and ends at 2:30 when I leave to pick them up...

But since this civilized portion of my life only started this year when my youngest started school full time, I am certainly enjoying it!!! Very Happy

This is how I managed to take up cross stitch again after a almost 10 year break!
