Well, when you say paintings of windows and doors I immediately think of
trompe l'oeil paintings, where you are deceived into thinking a painting is the real thing. Muriel actually already has a few trompe l'oeil pieces in here (one of a violin and 'Job lot cheap' as well I think). There are a million examples of this style of art, so if you just google it you should get heaps. I found this link though
