Holy cow - now there's a small world!!!! Welcome, Gary!! I was stationed at Cannon from 2/89-8/90! I was a corrosion control spec - paint barn! Of course, that was back in the old days when those crusty old F-111s were there - 27th TFW. Before that, I was at RAF Bentwaters in the UK where I worked on A-10s. Clovis has a lot more happening now (from what I read on the web) than in the days when I was there, but I had a house on Tucker Ave. and when I got out (1 day before we went on alert which became Desert Shield), I was very sad to leave New Mexico. I have been trying to get back out there - anywhere Texas westward - ever since, but currently find myself stuck in Georgia.

Great first chart - I hope you have a place to post progress pics; if not, let me know, and I'll give you a few suggestions! And before everyone else warns you, I am she of the reallllllyyyyy wordy post - flip through here, and you'll see Cool Hope to chat with you often!! Thank you for your service Very Happy

Wow that is pretty neat..what are the chances of knowing someone who was also at Clovis...yes there is definitly not much to do here...It may be a little more built up from what you remember but im sure not that much. People still go to Lubbock and Amarillo and ABQ to do stuff. I am an aircraft maintenance guy myself. worked on the f-16s and now moving over to special ops. I have been here about 2 and a half years and ready to move on...i was stationed in germany before this at spangdhalem AFB. As far as placing progress pics i wouldnt know where to go or how to begin..i mean i can take the pictures and get them on my computer but as far as posting them on here im not sure how to go about that..in fact i dont even know if im replying to this post right or not...if you have some ideas let me know...well talk to you later...and thanks for the welcome..

Yep, fondly remember a couple of trips to Amarillo for a bookstore and a frosty Smile I always preferred Amarillo because it is set up similar to Dayton, OH, where I'm from. But having been in the greater Atlanta area now for going on 14 years, I would so welcome that smaller town atmosphere. My boys would probably hate it as much as I did the small town I grew up in, because they would be way more isolated there than they are in our current small town, but it would be ever so much better for them. Oh well, I'll get back out there some day....

As to pictures, I have two places that I put pictures. The first is a photo hosting site, Webshots. You set up a free account, and upload your pics, then you can come here and paste the links to them in a post for all of us to see!! But I also have a blog that has a huge photo capacity - Multiply. It's nice because you can kind of restrict who can access and comment, but also because you can blog, journal - whatever you want to call it. I also have a Blogger blog, but it's mostly my political and youth-athletics rant place - not as photo-friendly as Multiply.

Several folks I know also use photo hosting at Photobucket or Picturetrail; again, you set up a free account, upload your pics, and post the links to either the albums or individual pics.

Check 'em out - if you have any questions or help, by all means, let me know Smile

I use the universal myself Gary its basic . I have read fav comments on the gazelle . Do your research well. Its a costly business when you end up not liking it.
I dont know the loc scroll but have you tried Qsnaps they are very light and I find I dont get tired of holding them at all.
