GA fair in a few weeks - my finished Fire FLower, some ornaments, some phots, and some jewelry if I can get it put together the way I like it in time!!! Good to "hear" from you, Gary!

Thanks guys, he took two thirds of the (grown up) kids to the State Fair (sent me phone pics of cross stitch and quilts) while I worked my most recent odd, part-time, temporary job until 9. But he got the night off, so we do get that time together, in fact, I better head back now.

After reading all the post about men stitching, I had to say that this past spring I taught my 20 yo son how to stitch. He loves it. His girlfriend is a litlle confused at times. Right now he is working on a L&L angel (this is his first big piece) he hopes to enter it in a show this coming February. Now we are teaching my 17 yo son how to stitch. And I thought I would miss having a girl. Very Happy

That's awesome, Katie, good on you! And good on your son! Don't worry about the girlfriend, she'll come round when she realises that a man who can stitch can probably do the dishes and cook dinner too! Wink
