Surprised Interest seems to be picking up....I'm finding it quite interesting. Have picked up some very good tips and also learned about products I was not aware of.

I look at this site everyday in hopes of hearing something new. I wish there was a way to see what people are working on and the progress folks are making. Are you working on a SQ project?

I just purchased my first SQ pattern last week and haven't started it yet. I also downloaded the rose pattern and am planning on doing that first. I am just finishing one of Teresa Wentzler's patterns...the fruit bellpull. Even thought I have been stitching for several years, I have just recently gotten interested into doing more complex patterns. I recently retired and have a lot more time to stitch so its not as hard to concentrate on them now. How about you?

I have stitched for 20 years and find it to be my escape and relaxation. I stitch some everyday. I have a five year old so it is hard to get the time. I just started the Sargent, Carnation, Lilly, Lily, Rose. I love it. I have completed a lot of Paula Vaughn stuff. I love the SQ charts. I purchased two and can't wait to start the second one. It will take quite some time. Which pattern did you get?

Thanks for the reply.

I purchased The Announciation. We have a small print of it and I've always liked it so I thought that would be a good one to start with. I remember my days of trying to stitch with little ones running around!! Barely, but I do remember. The relaxation part was also why I started. You can just lose yourself.
