I thought it would be fun to find out what everyone is working on, what they plan to do with thier piece when they are finished, and how long they have been working on it.

I am working on Still Life of Flowersw and Fruits I-Eugene-Adolphe Chevalier. I have been working on it for about 2 weeks now and it will go perfectly in my kitchen/dining room area.

Great Idea!
I will be starting Carnation,Lily,Lily Rose this weekend. This is my husbands favorite piece by Sargent as it reminds him of our daughter. I plan to hang it in our living room. We will need to redecorate around it.

I'm currently working on finishing one RR (blues and purples) in which I'm stitching a winter fairy in silks (over one!)- then mailing it on to it's owner.

Then I have to finish my stitching for a second one, which is Terrence Nolan's Wee Beasties- where I am stitching a scarab beetle.

SandiInVA,

You reference stitching over 1. Could you help me with the difference between Aida and one over one?

Hi,
I am currently working on Angels of the World which is a series that was published in Stitcher's World Magazine of November 2002 & January 2003. However, I am changing some of the threads to Silk instead of Cotton floss but am sticking pretty close to the original color scheme for each angel. I haven't even finished the first angel yet & I've got about 7 more to do, but I'll get there.

I just started "Cardinal Welcome" by Sharon S. Pope published in the July 2001 Stitcher's World that I came across at Value Village Embarassed
It is a Welcome sign (duh) and is to be done on "28 ct Vintage Antique Ivory fabric from Wichelt... stitched over 2 threads" but I'm doing it on 22 ct cream hardanger instead, only because I really wanted to start it late one night and that's what I had on hand Smile

Hi: I began stitching "Young Girls at the Piano" by Renoir a couple of months ago and I'm loving every stitch. It may take a year or more to finish, but I know it will be a joy to behold when it is finished and hung in our living room.
