Pinhead Stitch in the Newsletter     Reply with quote

Hey, I just wanted to mention that the latest newsletter that had the pinhead stitch illustrated was wonderful! I have seen various diagrams and written explanations, but for some reason, it never really clicked until I saw this version! Now all I have to do is remember to try it! I though about it last night, as I was putting my stitching up for the night Sad

I am going to place a link to both the Solutions page adn specifically to that pinhead stitch part on my blogs, if that's okay?

Using the diagram reference numbers, I do my stitches up at 4, down at 3, up at 2, down at 1.

Are the pinhead stitch directions the same for those that stitch back a**wards like me?

I agree with Alanna, Meredith you rock. I had never heard of the pin head stitch, but I know exactly when and where I will use it. Those singe, out there, floating stitches used to drive me nuts (a very short trip), but now I have a solution. I love this forum.

I would never call anyone else's stitching backwards ... you should see the way I tie my shoes! Whatsup, you should rotate the diagram so that its starting position (the "up at 1") is where you start, in other words one quarter turn clockwise. Your starting pinhead stitch will be other people's finishing one. (See the tips page under anchoring floss for that diagram.) Hope that makes sense.
