snow on the ground     Reply with quote

With snow on the ground and roads of mud, dry cracked skin is soon to follow. Does anyone have any suggestion for a good moisturizer. It gets so dry here and I have found that some lotions leave my hands to oily for stitching.

My current project: The White Water Lilies, 4884 stitches completed and 80956 to go. I need to find a way to post pictures, does anyone use flicker or any other suggestions..

I am also looking for info about blending. Has anyone come across any sites that discuss blending. I have a project that I have not been able to finish because I changed the back ground colour and I need to come up with blending some stitches. when I figure out how to post pictures I will show what I have.

Hey, Peter...
Gloves in a Bottle is a good hand lotion that doesn't make your hands greasy. Not sure if it's available up there in Nunavut, though. You may have to order it online.
As for a picture-hosting site, PhotoBucket is pretty good.

3M Nexcare lotion is also very good; not greasy at all, and absorbs quickly.

From snow on the ground... to now -48 degrees wind chill celsius or fahrenheit. When its this cold its the same not matter what scale you use. Tonight going down to -52 ouch!

6091 stitches completed on the White Water Lilies - Monet, 79749 to go...

Still looking for information on blending...

To all of you in warmer places I am so envious.
