I finally finished "La Belle Dame Sans Merci". Working an hour or so most every night, it took about 4 years. It's in the frame shop now and that cost alone is worth it. This was my 4th SQ pattern. I'm starting a smaller one now-"Innocence".

I hope the photo shows up

Congrats Polly. I have yet to finish a SQ. Was this the piece your material was not big enough. (2 years ago) and if so, how did you fix it? I did a search on Innocence, but nothing came up. Rolling Eyes

Yep, this is the one that was shorted on the fabric. I decided not to add fabric so it's two rows short at the bottom. It's not noticeable though. I'll try to submit a photo when it comes back from the Frame Shop. It feels good to be done with it!

RE: "Innocence" by Bourguereau. Oops, I got that from 'another source'. I had started it at one point when I got frustrated with LaBelle. Then the new puppy ripped it to shreds so I have to start over. Fortunately I hadn't done much on it that I cried when seeing threads all over.
