On 18 ct aida or fiddlers lite, which needle is best? Size 28 or size 26?

I have noticed that when I use the size 28 petite that I have to be really careful not to split my threads when I go down into the last \ if the squares around it are already completed. Do you think a 26 might be better?

Also I am starting a new project, Kissing the Face of God on 1 inch bars. My question is: Can I use the same strip to hold on my fabric or should I take the old on off and put a new one on. If I take the old strip off, how is the best way to get it off?

I have only used my scroll bars on one piece and I love them. Thank You Laraine Harris

For 18 count, I suggest size 26 needles. I only use 28 needles with 22 count or higher.

Leave the EZ stitch velcro on your scroll bars unless it's excessively dirty, on noticeably crooked, or is starting to peel of on its own. They use a pretty heavy adhesive on that, so it should be go to for several projects.
