I hope I am showing you the thumb needle hellper and the blue rubber that helps pull the needle and thread through the back.

I have found the perfect tool to pull your needle through confetti when it is stuck. It is some tweezers that I have that are only 2 inch long and about 1/4 inch wide. Since they are so short they really work well. Laraine Harris
