Hi, Alana

It's getting close...all the best with your new addition. It's a precious time, so the stitching can wait. There is too much to enjoy and the stitching won't change day to day like a child does!

Take care and be sure to let us know the news!!!

Ok, here's the bulletin: Drum roll, please

I FINISHED 'THE YOUNG GARDENER'..took almost 4 years. A lot of confetti stitching, done on 18 count with 2 strands. Mostly blends.

So, that's done...and I can't figure out how to post a picture of it here.

Have started The Mighty Samuri, by Dimensions, as a companion piece to my Geisha cross-stitch. It is much easier, with large areas in one symbol, and minimum blended colours.

I will try to send a picture of the Young Gardener to Meredith to post in the Gallery.

It's been quite a while since I've posted anything, but thought I would share with you that I finished 'Merry Old Santa Claus', and have e-mailed it to be put in the gallery. It was quicker to do, and I finished it in 1 1/2 years! It is done on 28 count evenweave, in a dusty blue colour.

My next Scarlet Quince start will be the Paul Peel picture "After the Bath", which I intend to do in continental stitch. I don't have the material yet, but have read that 22 count or even 24 count works well with that stitch. Anyone that has experience with this, or suggestions, I would appreciate hearing them.

Hope everyone is well, and you wake with a smile.

Nancy
