I just wanted to say hi to everyone. I am new to SQ. I just love all the patterns and wish I could do all of them. I decide to start with the pattern "little girl with a pail". I can't wait to get started. I would love to see everyone finished pattern. I hope to make new friends that love to cross-stitch like i do. I am stay at home housewife and I also love to read, sew,and knit.

Hi, welcome to the group Exclamation Which one are you going to stitch? When i looked got several patterns, and yes they are all great pictures, difficult to choose, but hey, when you finish this one, there are more to stitch! Did you get your chart and flosses all ready to go?
We'll hear from you, to see how everything goes, and if you need any help, there's always someone who'll give you a helping hand. Very Happy
Happy Stitching Fenny.

Hi, Fenny, I have got the pattern and some of the flosses. I can't believe how many different color there are in one picture. Do you live in Israel. Last May my husband and I went to Israel with our church for two weeks. It was the best trip we have ever taken. I just love seeing all the history. THe one that I am going to start is Girl with watering bucket. Thanks for your reply and I hope to hear from you soon.

OH, you picked a nice one. Very Happy And yes the SQ have a lot of colours, but that gives a perfect effect and no backstitch and 1/4 and 1/2 stitches, you really will enjoy stitching it, and see it come to live.
Glad you had a good time here and saw a lot of history, there is so much to see.
Happy Stitching

Hi BarbaraPrz, thanks for putting the numbers off floss on your "stitchery page". We can't get those numbers anymore, so it's great to have the numbers that replace them.
Great work, girl Very Happy

Hello SDF1966, welcome to SQ and congratulations on your purchase. It's a lovely pattern. I'd never be brave enough to stitch a Renoir- his brushstrokes just scream confetti stitches at me (much like a Van Gogh), so I'll leave all the fun to you!

Keep us up to date with your progress. Smile

Welcom Sdf1966! It is always nice to find a fellow stitcher so close to home. I live in Harrah, we are close enough to create a stitching club. What outlets do you have in your town for supplies--me I have nothing. The closest is Micheal's in Midwest City.

Hi, Its nice to know I am not the one in the Oklahoma City area. I usually go to Hobby Lobby or Michael's or there is a place called Cross Stitch Haven that is over closer to you. Their web site is www.crossstitchhaven.com. They are located at 9210 S. Western. I have been there several times and they said that if they didn't have something that I needed they would find it and order it. They are very sweet. You might try it out sometimes or go to the web site to see what they have to offer. It is again nice to have a neighbor. Denice
