April 8, 2021 “Here is an in-progress photo to show the stair step method of progressing through a large complicated pattern that a fellow embroiderer shared with me a few years back. The stair step follows the grid printed on a pattern. I start by stitching the first 10x10 square in the upper left corner. Then I move on to the 10x10 square just below the first square and the 10x10 square to the right of the first square. And then yup, I keep stitching diagonal rows of squares below the finished ones until the page is finished.”
April 8, 2021 “Just wanted to share with you my completed Scarlet Quince pattern “In Glacier Park (leaves)” by Ansel Adams. I stitched this on 22ct Hardanger fabric. I loved stitching Glacier Park and am absolutely fascinated by the color mixing. I’d never seen that before stitching this pattern.”
