July 31, 2014 “I have been working assiduously on Cluny rabbit II. Here are a few photos. As you may notice, I have found pre-gridded Aida canvas, which is so much better than having to run threads through the canvas to produce a grid. The red lines are faint, they outline squares which are exactly 10x10, like on the patterns, and do not show through the embroidery. They are also supposed to disappear with a wash. I have found it made the work much easier, and I stick to my plan of doing one hour every evening, so hopefully, I\’ll be able to complete it quite soon! So I can start on a new project from Scarlet Quince! Thanks so much for producing such lovely works!”
October 29, 2014 “I have finished the second rabbit. This one was when they were hanging on the line after a wash (that removed the pink guiding lines)”
October 29, 2014 “Here is a second one of them together. Still undecided about how to frame them and display them... I have started on "The Old Cupboard Door", with an embroidery frame this time, to avoid deformation of the fabric. I haven’t told my husband what it is, see how he reacts when the pattern emerges... For the moment, it’s just the edge of the door, so nothing visible, of course!”
