18-count fiddlers lite with size 28 needles

August 17, 2013 “I used 18 ct fidlers lite and size 28 needles. I am 2/3 finished.

In order to keep my cross stitching simple and to get immediate satisfaction, I cross stitch in the following manner:

I use a washable blue marker to grid my fabric and grid the entire pattern.

This results in it is broken down into 10 x 10 stitch squares.

I do only the top 5 rows of the 10 English Style and complete all the stitches. Next, I go down to the remaining 5 rows in the 10 inch square and complete each stitch before going on to the next.

My work always looks neat and I never get lost or have any trouble findling where I am or finding which bobbin to use next. I keep my bobbins in plastic trays that have no dividers in them. I file them in the trays according to the number listed first on my bobbin.

This way I can find my threads immediately and my work always is simple and looks neat. This makes it so much easier.”
