Scarlet Quince News
April 2010

Hello stitching friends,

Scarlet Quince turns 8 this month! Who believes it? EIGHT! We've grown a lot during that time, making more improvements to our patterns and the website than we could possibly list. Much of it has been thanks to you, our subscribers and customers, who have been generous with your comments and support.

Despite the fact that EIGHT seems like a respectable age, we're still a small company, so we are entering a competition for startup companies! The top 24 companies in 6 categories will be featured in a TV series about startup companies in America. How cool would that be?? Would you like to see us on TV? Then please vote for us on Cringely's List.

Here's how, if you have a moment:

  1. Click here to go to the site.
  2. Click Register in the yellow area and complete a very short registration process. If you have an account on Twitter, Facebook, Google, or a few others, the registration becomes even shorter.
  3. Once you're logged in, if you don't see us in the list, use the search box to find Scarlet Quince.
  4. Click the big Comment & Vote button with the green arrows.
  5. Then click on one of the stars next to our name. The rightmost star would be good!

Thank you!

Reminder

The Online Needlework Show starts Thursday! The dates for shops are April 15-20. The public can view the show April 15-18. The product slots for each vendor have been expanded from 20 to 30, so there will be a lot more to see. See you there!
