Sometimes, you're just forced to clean...

I wasn't planning on it, but driving around Sunday with a friend, we saw a tallboy dresser at the curb with a free sign on it, so we stopped and picked it up. She was thinking of taking it to a consignment store but then I started thinking it might fit in my dining room (where I have a little set of drawers) and I could clear up a lot of clutter caused by all my stitching stuff.

The bottom drawer holds all the miscellaneous picture frames I've collected. The second last drawer holds most of my hoops and scroll frames (a couple are too large, but that's ok). Then I have a drawer of all the kits I've collected and yet to do. And a drawer just for cloth, and the top drawer holds the stuff that was in the little dresser.

Looks great, too. I have to give the little set of drawers to my friend, though.

What a great find!!! I am in need of good storage, not the plastic variety I have been trying to get along with for years! Someday, when I have a craft/sewing room, I'll have good cabinets & drawers!

Neither one of my daughters can drive past a "free" sign. We have ended up with some of the most amazing treasures this way (and some very silly stuff too, mini bagpipes and a bright green phone, for example). Congrats on your find!
