The Lady of Shalott - John William Waterhouse
Stitched by Margaret, Australia

June 16, 2022 “Here is a pic of my last SQ pattern. Please note secondhand frame and etceteras. Only way to go, really. I have loved this painting since I was a little girl ( 65 plus years) and still do, so to have it handworked on my wall is a special thing.”

Stitched by Larry Wrona

October 3, 2021 “10/3 5 years later and it’s finished. The previous pic shows my mistake, and this one shows the fix. There is a visible seam in the middle, and it’s not ideal, but it’s the best I could come up with. Still proud of it.”

Stitched by Irene Foss

September 2, 2019 “I've been working on the Lady of Shalott for over 5 years now. Last year I was lucky enough to see the original painting in London. I hated to leave it!”

Stitched by Hyon Sorensen, Killeen, Texas on 14-count white aida

February 27, 2012 “The Lady of Shalott - John William Waterhouse. I finished in January 2012. I'm really enjoying to do cross stitch and I will continue more to do. Thank you, Scarlet Quince.”

Stitched by Manja Thessin, Charlotte, NC on 18-count aida

“I'm sending a photo of my project about 1/4th completed. I am still enjoying myself tremendously stitching this pattern.”
