Black-Crowned Night Heron - John James Audubon AUD014 pattern info
Robyn, Connecticut
18-count aida
October 3, 2012 “I've attached a copy of where I am in Night Heron -- I'm maybe about halfway through, and I absolutely love it. It's definitely the most detailed cross-stitch I've ever done, and I think it's going to be the prettiest when I'm done!”
September 29, 2015 “I have finished Black-Crowned Night Heron by John James Audubon! It is without doubt the most beautiful needlepoint I have ever done -- I'm so grateful that I found your site and was able to make a real work of art, rather than selecting from a series of treacly kits at the crafts store. I sent you a picture of this project back in 2012, when I estimated that I was halfway done. I was so wrong, but I've really enjoyed this entire project. I'm taking this down to the framing shop today, but I just couldn't wait to send you the picture. I've already bought my next pattern from you -- Columbian Hummingbirds, again by Audubon. This one is going to be a gift for my cousin -- he got married this year, and I told him and his wife to pick out any pattern they wanted from their site -- they were so excited by all their options, and again, that's something that never would've happened before I found your site. Thanks again, and I can't wait to see this hanging on my wall!”
October 27, 2015 “I just got it back from the framers, so here's the final photo. I'm so delighted with my final product, and I'm so grateful for your website and the amazing patterns you offer.”
