October 17, 2011 “I am attaching pictures of Midsummer Eve.... Hope you like it... BTW... I have been a little (secretly) disappointed with the work, seems like I cannot see the detail as well as I HOPED... I KNOW I cannot see the trumpet on her side... WELL, clearly you can see the trumpet in the picture... seems I need to take a couple of steps back when admiring my work.. I cannot see the trumpet while stitching.. only when I get a picture on the whole thing...... Yeeee.. wonder what the fairies will look like.. :-)”
March 12, 2012 “This is IT... FINALLY... . It has become my obsession to the point that I delayed the final stitches and 'savored\’ them through-out the weekend... . I feel I will not be able to rest and put this obsession behind me until I have it fully mounted and hung and a prime spot.. Also, I signed the piece.. not sure if this was a good idea... but I also dated it.. 2012... (since the world is supposed to end soon)... this piece may be the last link with an actual day... BAHAAAAA... See bottom left corner.. ”
March 20, 2015 “Completed and framed 2012.”
