Happy New Year! Here's hoping for a happy and prosperous new year for everyone (with lots of stitching time, of course!

We have two pattern awards this month! The suggestion for Noah's Ark - Edward Hicks came from Liz Lasswell, of Newark, Delaware. And Annemiek Mulderij, of the Netherlands, suggested The Night Watch - Rembrandt van Rijn. They've both received complimentary copies of the patterns they suggested (shown below). Your suggestions are welcome too!

It always makes our day when we open email and find a photo of work in progress or a completed piece. There are several new things in the gallery, some finished, some not, but all stunning. If you haven't visited the gallery in a while, do check them out! And please send us pictures of your work!

The January White Sale is back! What on earth is a cross stitch white sale, you ask? Well, many of our patterns have unstitched (white) backgrounds. All of these patterns are 20% off the regular price, now through January 17! What if the background isn't white? Patterns designed with ecru or black backgrounds are 20% off too -- anything where the background or some portion of it is not stitched!
