Dear stitching friends,
We have three pattern awards to announce this month: Jenny I. of Victoria, Australia, received a copy of "The Great Wave Off Kanagawa - Hokusai", which she was the first to suggest. Jane Manzanilla from the Philippines received a copy of her suggestion, "Olive Trees - Vincent Van Gogh" (featured last month). She says the pattern is actually for her mother. Thank you for your suggestions, Jenny and Jane! We also have an August winner for our forum posting contest - Laurie Barnhardt of Kelowna, British Columbia. Survey - Sources for Supplies We're occasionally asked to suggest a good web site where cross stitch supplies can be purchased. If you have bought fabric or floss on the internet, and would recommend the site you bought from, in terms of price, service, and reasonable shipping charges, please let us know. We DO always recommend that if you have a local cross stitch shop, that you patronize them - but sometimes there isn't a local shop, or they don't have what you need. So if you have had a positive experience buying your supplies in the ether, let us know!
