Scarlet Quince News
December 2007

Hello stitching friends,

It's holiday time again! Don't get too stressed out shopping and baking — remember to take some time for you (stitching, of course)!

If you haven't made out your Scarlet Quince wish list and emailed it to the usual suspects, what are you waiting for? Or drop a hint for a Scarlet Quince gift certificate (they also make great gifts for the other stitchers on your list)!

We have a little holiday prezzie for you — a new limited edition pattern download for members only, in the month of December only. It's called Holiday Candle (see below) and is based on a vintage Christmas postcard. To get to the pattern download page, go to the member services page and enter your email address under the download section.

Gale Bryner of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania is the latest recipient of a pattern award. Congratulations, Gale! Her suggestion was Whistlejacket - George Stubbs. The original painting is, amazingly, nine feet high (almost 3 meters), but we think it translates nicely into a somewhat smaller cross stitch!

New patterns! Clink any picture for a closer look.
