We have added a partial list of shops and websites that
carry Scarlet Quince patterns or will special-order them. If you are fortunate
enough to live near one of them, please support them! Retailers: if you would
like to be added to the list, please let us know.
We have two pattern awards this month! Elizabeth Anderson of Hamilton, New Zealand, received The Dream - Henri Rousseau which she was the first to suggest, and a stitcher from West Virginia received Irene Cahen d'Anvers - Pierre Auguste Renoir. Thank you both for your great suggestions! Lots of people answered our request last month for model stitchers. Thank you to everyone who responded. We are still working through all the emails, so if you haven't heard from us please give us a bit more time. We promise that we will give everyone a definite answer, and if we aren't able to use your help right now, we will keep you in mind for the future. It has been brought to our attention that DMC has discontinued a few colors in the UK. 
These colors are still available in the United States; we're not sure about the
rest of the world or where DMC is going with this. The good news is that they
are colors that were very close to other colors. If you run into this and are
unable to find one of these colors, here are the replacements:
