Hello stitching friends,

The online Needlework Show starts this Thursday! It's a wholesale trade show (only store owners can buy through the show) but everyone can look. It's a wonderful place to catch up with what's new from your favorite designers, and find new favorites. We'll be there -- hope you'll take a look.

We've added a new tutorial to our illustrated tutorials! This one is on Removing Kinks from Floss. We talked about this in the newsletter some time ago but it never made it into the tutorials. Now it's where you can find it!

We are on Pinterest!

If you aren't familiar with Pinterest, it's a website where you can set up bulletin boards on whatever topics interest you, and "pin" pictures and web pages you like. It's like a list of bookmarks, but with pictures. You might have a board for your stitching wish list, another for pictures you like, another for recipes, and so on. Each pin links back to the original page it came from. And you can follow other people's boards if you share an interest. But look out -- it's quite addictive!

Here is our Pinterest page. We have boards for various cross stitch collections, and will be adding more. In addition, there is a board for notions, stitching tools, and supplies -- this may give you some ideas on things that would be useful to your stitching, and they link to the websites where you can buy them. We have a board for finishing ideas, with examples of how people have framed their stitching (or made it into pillows or hangings). There's another for tips and techniques. And finally, there's a board for suggestions! We've started things off with some of the most suggested pictures, but it is intended to be a community board. If you email us your Pinterest profile, we'll add you to the list of people who can pin suggestions there. If a lot of people like your suggestion, we'll know it would be a popular pattern, and we're more likely to use it!

We've also added a Pin It button on the pattern page, so when you see a pattern you want to remember, you can easily pin it to one of your boards.

New patterns! Clink any picture for a closer look.
