March 2010

Hello stitching friends,

The Online Needlework Show is coming in April -- mark your calendars now! The dates are April 15-20. This is a wholesale show, but it's open to viewing by the public through the 18th. It's a great way to find new designers or check out what's new with your favorites. We'll be there with new designs!
Web Site Updates
When you place an order, we are now giving you a choice of packaging, where possible. In the past, we shipped in boxes when necessary, but if an order would fit in an envelope, we used an envelope (reinforced by corrugated cardboard pads). Boxes add several ounces to the weight which makes shipping cost more. But in some cases the difference may be small, or you may feel that it's worth it -- so now you have the choice! Boxes are currently available for priority and express mail shipping. If you would like to see us offer boxes for first class mail, please let us know.

We've added a tutorial on thread-under anchors. This is the way most people anchor when they're finished with a color, and you probably already know how to do it, but we are working toward having a complete set of tutorials covering basic stitching techniques as a resource for new stitchers.

As you can see below, we've added a pattern for the last Lady and Unicorn sense -- the Sense of Smell. So many people have asked when or if we were going to offer it, and it's here at last!

New patterns! Clink any picture for a closer look.
