Many thanks to all of you who took time to respond to our call for comments on the symbols used in our patterns! We are very grateful for the feedback. It was helpful in clarifying which symbols are too much alike, as well as those which can be told apart but sometimes require a double-think. For those who like our symbols just the way they are, we appreciate your feedback as well. We don't intend massive changes or a change in approach: we will still use denser symbols to represent darker colors so that the chart looks like the picture. We just hope to make some tweaks so that it is easier to stitch without making mistakes.
