Apple - John Henry Dearle

Counted Cross Stitch Pattern

A slender apple tree bearing many red apples. It is surrounded by fanciful flowers in orange, pink, yellow, and blue, and blue and green leaves and vines. A small bird sits at the base of the tree. There is a second background of brocade leaves. It is based on a silk-on-silk embroidery by the William Morris studio, used as the third panel of a folding screen. We also offer the first panel of the screen, Pomegranate, and the second, Vine. (After 1896)
