Stitched by Mary Rogers, Mexico, Missouri on 18-count aida
September 6, 2013 “Here is a picture of A Peacock and Doves in a Garden by Eugene Bidau. It is my favorite peacock picture to date. I have only 3 of them. I did this on 18-count ivory aida cloth. If worked on this from 5-10-2012 to 8-18-2013. It was my first attempt at blending threads and it was challenging at first. After I got the hang of it it was no problem at all. I quite enjoyed doing a picture with no outlining in it. Thanks for bringing such good pictures to stitch. I have 2 more to do in the future. (Click "more pictures by Mary" for a good tip on scroll rods.)”

Stitched by Herta-Irena Zorskiene, Vilnius, Lithuania on 18-count aida
March 21, 2013 “My mother began this project on October 1, 2011 at the tender age of 81 and completed in in mid-February 2013 at age 83. She stitched an average of 5 hours a day, 7 days a week the entire time. The finished work is 17.7" x 26.7" (45 cm x 68 cm) before framing. The detail and craftsmanship is exquisite. She was so excited with the way it turned out that she has already begun stitching her next project. This is just one example of her work. She has sent several of her pieces to me and my husband in the United States which we have had framed and display proudly throughout our home. Her passion and enthusiasm for the craft inspired me to take up cross stitching and we love getting together on Skype to compare the progress of our respective projects.”

Stitched by Nataliia Uholnikova, Ukraine on 16-count aida
June 16, 2012 “I am an accountant and started this stitching on 05.10.10 in New York. In May 2011 picture was ready by 85%, but then I had no time for stitching (we returned to Ukraine and was very busy with this move). Finally I found time to finish picture and it was done at the end of April 2012. I used 16-count Aida fabric. Final size of picture is 19" X 29" (48 x 74 cm). I enjoyed this work.”
