November 9, 2019 “I got her back from the framer today. It's my mom’s (early) Christmas gift. She refused to let me take her picture with it, but my dad gladly hammed it up! Then I snuck a picture of Mom when she wasn't looking. She loves this piece, and I loved stitching it.”

“This is my first Scarlet Quince pattern. I'm so excited to finish the first row and to send in my first picture. It has taken about 6 months. There are so many beautiful patterns on Scarlet Quince. It really inspires me to keep going. I am amazed at how quickly some of the others seem to be able to stitch. I hope to finish the next row in less time now that I have gotten used to working with blended colors. I'm already trying to decide which pattern I want to do next!”

Stitched by Christiane Stevens, Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts on 18-count aida
“Here is a picture of the cross stitch I finished and entered in the county fair. As you can see I did very well! I won the lst price and Best in Show. The total was $5.00! But the experience was great, a gentleman called me, he wanted to buy my counted cross stitch for his wife, I think I could have named my price but I could not even think about parting with it. So now it is above our fireplace and it looks great. Just a little anecdote, as my daughter and I were standing near the Fragonard, a lady came up to me and asked me if I had done the painting and what medium did I use? When my Granddaughter l3 yrs, who won lst place in needlepoint, told that lady that the picture was a cross stitch she could not believe it.”

Stitched by Fenny Rotem Faber, Israel on 28-count evenweave
“My compliments for everyone at SQ for all the beautiful pictures, I must say it kept me busy for 4 months and don’t feel the need of working at another pattern, which is quite unusual for me. Every page is like an adventure. Have done about 50.000 stitches, which means that it’s about half the pattern done.”
