April 18, 2017 “I live in Wyoming, hence the choice of subject. It's been an almost spiritual experience stitching it because Yellowstone is my church-in-the-mountains. I have the Manet lady at a bar bookmarked for next SQ project, so very different! I looked at another version of the same lady on Artecy but the detail and colors are so much nicer on SQ. Start date February 2016 and about halfway through now. It's on 18 ct aida. Love the large print, even though I'm 33 and have good vision...it's just easier. I do a page then do a smaller project, then a page, then a smaller project, and so on. I'd be done if I worked on it solidly, but I need to change up the colors every now and again!”

I have been cross stitching for more years than I care to remember and never found a pattern that was detailed (and complicated) enough to make me happy. I have completed more than half of Joseph Nigg's La Corbeille des Fleurs and it is just gorgeous. Using the blended colors makes it so detailed it does look like an oil painting. Sure is much more than a craft store has to offer. Thank you for such a beautiful pattern.
