Stitched by Catriona Robinson

October 5, 2020 “This is intended as a seat cover for an antique chair, so I needed to stitch the background. White seemed like a good idea when I started out, but it really wasn't. I underestimated the difficulty of both stitching endless tiny white crosses onto white fabric, and also of keeping it clean for the two years that it took to finish.”

Stitched by Don on 20-count Jobelan, 2 strands over 1

December 18, 2018 “This is the first pattern I have done from Scarlet Quince, and am now stitching the Grosbeak by John James Audubon. I wish I had found them sooner, as their patterns are superior to anything I have seen anywhere else. It took me more than 3 months of 7 to 9 hour days to finish. As you might imagine I am not very speedy and am prone to a multitude mistakes. I used Jobelyn 20 count and stitched 2 over 1. Again, thank you Scarlet Quince for this and all of the rest of your wonderful patterns! I had a wonderful time stitching this.”

September 3, 2012 “I've gotten 50 rows done in the 8 months I've been working on it. Now, I will have to mostly set it aside for the next 2 years, or so, as I will be starting Nursing School in a couple of weeks, and studies will take most of my time.”
