The Scout - Charles M. Russell
Stitched by Peter La Plant, Green Bay, Wisconsin on 25-count evenweave linen over 1 thread with 2 strands

March 13, 2021 “I wanted to share pictures of my (2) finished Charles Russell projects, “The Scout” and “Indian Head”. They are stitched on 25 count evenweave linen over one thread with 2 strands. The finished pieces match the size of Russell's original artwork. I am currently working on “The Bucker”. Thank you for such a wonderful product. It's so rewarding having these marvelous pieces of original art available for cross stitch projects! One happy customer.”

Stitched by Susan Carpenter, Sun City Center, Florida on 22-count linen

December 20, 2018 “After three years , I finally completed this wonderful piece of art. Thought I would share how I framed it.”

Stitched by Jan Earnshaw, Derbyshire, England on 18-count aida

July 10, 2017 “'The Scout', stitched on 18 count aida, should definitely come with a health warning! It is not a task for the faint-hearted. It has taken me 7 months to complete what has proved to be the most complex cross stitch I have ever worked - mixed threads and often only one stitch. I have stitched it as a gift for an artist friend who lives in Arizona and has a passion for all things native American. Although I have thoroughly enjoyed the challenge, I am pleased that I have finally finished it and the scout is now going back home.”

Stitched by Deb M., Colorado on 18-count white aida

December 8, 2015 “At long last have finished "The Scout". It was the most challenging project I've done and equally as satisfying. A please to work and a stunning piece in my home. Thank you--”
