A cheerful stylized sunflower from a matchbox. This pattern is charted as solidly stitched, but you may stitch it on ecru fabric and let exposed fabric stand in for the ecru borders, or stitch it on red and let exposed fabric replace the red background around the sunflower. (The red area in the flower is still stitched.) With these options, the requirement for ecru is less than one skein of ecru, or 1 skein of DMC 3328, respectively.
