The Language of Flowers - G. D. Leslie

Counted Cross Stitch Pattern

Two sisters, one in white and one in dark gray, have been cutting flowers in the garden and now lounge on a green leather couch before a white paneled wall with an embroidered bellpull nearby. One plays with the scissors and the other looks up the traditional meaning of a flower in a large book. See LES004-D and LES004-D2 for charts of portions of this painting. (1885)
